Join a team of passionate educators dedicated to making a difference!</p> <p>The Waubonsee Upward Bound program is seeking instructors to teach summer courses during a five-week summer program.</p> <p>Subjects include:</p> <p>Mathematics (Algebra through Calculus),</p> <p>Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering)</p> <p>World Language (Arabic, French, German, Mandarin, or Spanish)</p> <p>Electives in Social Science, Business, Health, etc.</p> <p>Instructors are scheduled to work Monday - Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.</p> <p>Course dates:</p> <p>June 8 - 10, 2026</p> <p>June 15 - 17, 2026</p> <p>June 22 - 24, 2026</p> <p>June 29 - July 1, 2026</p> <p>July 6 - 8, 2026</p> <p>Mandatory dates:</p> <p>Staff Orientation A - May 26, 2026, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Virtual - Zoom)</p> <p>Staff Orientation B - June 2, 2026, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (in-person)</p> <p>Open House - July 9, 2026, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree</p> <p>Completed at least 2 years of teaching at the high school or college level.
