We want to discuss with you why this is a great opportunity!</p> <p>Your Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Under the supervision of the production CAD Manager your key responsibilities will include:</p> </li><li> <p>Working with project leads to support drawing production of transportation projects including roads, bridges, railroads and others.</p> </li><li> <p>Work efficiently with minimal supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Becoming familiar with client CAD standards and ensuring all drawing production is compliant.</p> </li><li> <p>Working with CAD Manager to establish CAD standards, file structures, reference file management and workspaces for various projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining communication with other CAD staff and discipline leads within the organization to ensure consistent practices & standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in periodic CAD staff meetings and technical CAD workshops for CAD staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Staying current with new CAD technology, trends, tools, and practices in the industry through reading technical articles and attending occasional workshops & seminars.</p> </li><li> <p>Regularly reviewing and becoming familiar with CAD standards of both Stantec and Stantec's clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Support final archiving of CAD, model, and other design related documents / files at the completion of projects / pursuits.</p> </li><li> <p>Some travel may be required.</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication skills with managers and team members is important.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Your Capabilities and Credentials</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proficient use of MicroStation and Open Roads</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient use of AutoCad and Civil 3D</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite</p> </li><li> <p>Education and Experience</p> </li><li> <p>Engineering or Architecture Design Degree or Drafting Diploma is desired.</p> </li><li> <p>A minimum of 8-10 years of experience working on large-scale transportation projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Additional experience may be substituted for a diploma or degree.</p> </li></ul> <p>Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
