<p>Performs all duties in the Hospital Pharmacy related to dispensing and compounding of medicine</p> <p>according to departmental policies and procedures for patients spanning all age groups and cultures.</p> <p>Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal/written skills. </li><li>Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide pharmaceutical care for the age served patients. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to interpret and assess clinical date necessary to provide care for the age of patients served. </li><li>Must be computer literate. </li><li>Must be familiar with pharmaceutical laws and guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Hospital experience required. </li><li>Experience in sterile medication compounding. </li><li>Positive interpersonal communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science/PharmD in Pharmacy from accredited school of pharmacy. </li></ul> <p>License/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Current license by Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy. </li></ul> <p>Age Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.</p> <p>Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.</p> <p>Sturdy Memorial Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
