As we continue to grow, we're looking for team members who are dedicated, reliable, and ready to contribute to a culture built on respect, opportunity, and pride in service.</p> <p>If this sounds like you, then why wait, APPLY TODAY!!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Customer, Safety, and Access:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain professional, prompt customer service and communications. </li><li>Maintain SIDA badge compliance and serve as site signatory/escort for subcontractors in restricted airport areas, where applicable to the site. </li><li>Support regular customer building audits/walkthroughs to achieve a "pass," addressing findings promptly. </li></ul> <p>Work Orders:</p> <ul> <li>Receive/acknowledge, execute, update, and close out work orders when directed or authorized by KBS Dispatch/Operations; otherwise provide timely updates, photos, and completion notes. </li><li>Upload required documentation (status notes, photos, proposals, completion details) per customer requirements. </li><li>Immediately escalate scope changes, emergent hazards, or specialty trade needs to KBS Dispatch/Operations. </li></ul> <p>Preventive & Routine Maintenance:</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventive maintenance inspections per customer scope and within state guidelines. </li><li>Conduct general facility maintenance and minor repairs: doors, hardware, fixtures, walls, flooring, restrooms, lighting, and basic plumbing. </li><li>Perform, lubricating components, aligning belts, minor patching/tear mitigation when within skill and safety limits. </li><li>Perform HVAC filter changes, minor condensate/drain maintenance, and routine housekeeping (within licensing limits). </li><li>Perform lighting maintenance (e.g., lamp/ballast/driver replacements where permitted), minor electrical support, and basic troubleshooting. </li><li>Perform overhead door preventive maintenance and basic maintenance. </li><li>Complete general preventive maintenance on in-building assets and infrastructure. </li></ul> <p>Repairs, Moves, and Site Support:</p> <ul> <li>Repair/adjust doors and closers; change locks/cores; reset door codes as directed by site management/KBS. </li><li>Perform minor painting and patching; repair/replace general hardware. </li><li>Dismantle/move/install furnishings and racking components as directed. </li><li>Operate scissor lift and common maintenance equipment safely (certification preferred). </li><li>Maintain building safety/security while working and when escorting third-party vendors. </li></ul> <p>Requirements for our Handyperson:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate effectively to customers and management. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. </li><li>Critical thinking with ability to multitask and balance strategy and execution. </li><li>3 or more years' experience in building maintenance. </li></ul> <p>What's In It for You?</p> <p>As a full-time KBS employee (30+ hours per week) you qualify for benefits including medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision and more!</p> <ul> <li>Affordable Limited Medical Insurance (Coterie) which includes virtual access to US board-certified physicians who can consult, diagnose, and prescribe medications via interactive audio or video. </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Supplemental Health Insurance (E.G., Accident) </li><li>401k plan with a match </li><li>Quick Pay - voluntary benefit offered to both full-time and part-time KBS employees who are paid hourly via direct deposit.
