<p>Job Description: Swiss CNC Engineer</p> <p>We are seeking a skilled Swiss CNC Engineer to join our dedicated team. This role involves working with state-of-the-art CNC equipment and requires expertise in programming and operating Swiss style machines. Our ideal candidate will have a strong experience in CNC machining and a keen eye for detail. You will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality parts and exceptional service to meet our clients' needs.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Use algebra, geometry, and trigonometry for machine setup and programming. </li><li>Program and set up Citizen and Tsugami swiss style machines using Espirit Software. </li><li>Read and understand blueprints and set-up sheets to ensure accurate machine operation. </li><li>Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. </li><li>Perform de-burring, inspection, and cleaning during machine cycle time to optimize usage. </li><li>Complete special projects as assigned. </li><li>Understand print requirements and demonstrate awareness of GD&T. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in a CNC/machining environment. </li><li>2+ years of experience programming Swiss CNC machines. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and set-up sheets. </li><li>Proficiency in creating complex offline programs for Swiss machines. </li><li>Understanding of tool paths and program development. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus. </li><li>Degree in Engineering is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Elmhurst, IL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.</p> <p>health dental vision, 401k, pto</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a fully onsite position in Elmhurst,IL.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Mar 19, 2026.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
