This role blends strong accounting expertise with leadership and client-facing skills, playing a key role in delivering insights, developing talent, and supporting firm growth.</p> <p>Major Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage assurance engagements from planning through completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality results, and compliance with U.S. GAAP, AICPA standards, and firm policies. </li><li>Supervise, mentor, and develop engagement teams, providing technical guidance and performance feedback. </li><li>Review workpapers, financial statements, and disclosures for accuracy, completeness, and technical compliance. </li><li>Develop and manage engagement budgets, monitor progress, and ensure productivity and profitability targets are met. </li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, delivering clear, actionable insights to support business decisions. </li><li>Evaluate internal controls and financial reporting processes, identifying risks and recommending improvements. </li><li>Collaborate with other business units to identify cross-service opportunities and support business development efforts. </li><li>Stay current on accounting and auditing standards and apply new guidance to client engagements. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience / Background / Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, Master's degree preferred. </li><li>Active CPA license. </li><li>At least 5 years of progressive public accounting experience in assurance services. </li><li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and AICPA auditing standards. </li><li>Proven experience managing multiple engagements and leading teams. </li><li>Excellent client relationship and communication skills, including presenting to executive audiences. </li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. </li><li>Hybrid work model with 2-3 days in the office each week. </li><li>Ability to work extra hours as determined by workload and client expectations. </li><li>Travel is dependent upon office location, business need, and client expectations. </li><li>Ability to sit for long periods of time. </li><li>Ability to move throughout office. </li><li>Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30-50 pounds. </li></ul> <p>One Firm</p> <p>To foster a highly respected, inclusive culture that helps foster and promote an environment that is diverse and equitable for all team members and the firm to achieve growth and deepened expertise.
