<p>Nature of Work</p> <p>As an entry level programmer, under close supervision, will work independently or as a member of a project team, leading, designing, developing, debugging, creating test data, testing and following this code through the test environments to production and implementing new software systems or performing system enhancements and/or modifications to existing complex systems. May work on multiple platforms. Will use structured or object-oriented techniques for system changes. Consults with business analysts to determine specific program and data requirements, prepares technical system and project documentation and attends development meetings. This position performs related work as required. An irregular work schedule may be required of this position. The qualifying training must be verified before the employee may be certified permanent.</p>
