<p>Your responsibilities</p> <p>Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM 3:15 PM (MondayFriday, OT on weekends as needed)</p> <p>Pay: $18.25/hour</p> <p>The BLC Operator is responsible for managing material flow through reservation requests, replenishments, put-away, bin transfers, and dynamic Kanban picks while ensuring accurate inventory transactions. This role operates various Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including Tuggers, Dock Stockers, Scissor Lifts, Reach Trucks, Turret Trucks, and Order Pickers, to support warehouse and production operations efficiently.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same. </li><li>Execute reservation requests and ensure timely movement of materials to banked inventory locations. </li><li>Perform replenishments and put-away tasks to maintain accurate inventory levels and support production needs. </li><li>Accurately process transfer orders (T.O.) confirmations, bin-to-bin transfers, and repacking to optimize material flow. </li><li>Conduct reservation picking and dynamic Kanban picks to fulfill production and warehouse demands. </li><li>Assist with freight unloading, ensuring materials are received, verified, and stored properly. </li><li>Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including Tugger, Dock Stocker, Scissor Lift, Reach Truck, Turret Truck, and Order Picker/EKS 110, to move and stage materials safely and efficiently. </li><li>Utilize SAP and RF scanners to complete inventory transactions with accuracy and efficiency. </li><li>Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or material shortages to BLC Leadership. </li><li>Adhere to company policies, productivity expectations, and operational procedures. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area by following the principles of 6S and demonstrating optimal workplace standards. Identify and adhere to the work area's Optimal State document(s), ensuring compliance with safety and operational expectations. </li><li>Conduct and document daily Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Inspections to ensure safe operation and report any concerns promptly. </li><li>Complete 100% of required monthly safety training on time, applying learned principles to daily work. </li><li>Exhibit Plant Hamilton core valuesincluding accountability, teamwork, and leadershipin all tasks and interactions. </li><li>Adhering to the work schedule as assigned, including arriving to work and being ready to work by shift start time, to ensure operational needs to the business are met. </li><li>Foster a positive work environment by demonstrating motivation, teamwork, and collaboration with colleagues. </li><li>Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Company</p> <p>thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. is a world class manufacturer of suspension solutions headquartered in Hamilton, Ohio USA. thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America supplies products to a wide range of Original Equipment Automotive Manufacturers as well as Aftermarket and Motorsports customers.
