We own and operate premium frac sand mines and related processing facilities in Wisconsin and Illinois, which have access to three Class I rail lines, allowing us to deliver products substantially anywhere in the United States and Canada.</p> <p>We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Oiler to join our Maintenance team at our Oakdale facility.</p> <p>The Oiler will work under the supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent but will require taking direction from other Smart Sand managers. This position is based at our Oakdale, WI facility.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties</p> <ul> <li>Lubricate and grease all plant equipment based on the schedules developed by the Maintenance Planner. </li><li>Perform on-the-spot equipment inspections during normal greasing routine-looking, listening, and feeling for anything abnormal in the equipment. </li><li>Record infrared temperature readings for bearings and gearboxes. </li><li>Communicate any issues identified during inspections to the Maintenance Superintendent and Maintenance Planner. </li><li>Perform basic on-the-spot maintenance where applicable and prudent. </li><li>Fuel equipment. </li><li>Operate small equipment including, but not limited to: Kubota side-by-sides, skid steers, telehandlers and man lifts. </li><li>Monitor grease tube inventory and communicate any reorders needed to the Maintenance Superintendent. </li><li>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. </li><li>Work cooperatively to comply with facility-wide environmental and quality management systems. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior maintenance experience preferred. </li><li>Able to use a variety of hand and power tools, digital meters and material-handling equipment in performing duties. </li><li>MSHA training and experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Comfortable working at heights and from a man-basket. </li><li>Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision. </li><li>Good judgment is required. </li><li>Must be adaptable and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Must have high safety standards for self and others. </li><li>Must be able to work effectively in a team atmosphere. </li><li>Must be able to read. </li><li>Must be willing to work any assigned shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays. </li></ul> <p>Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
