<p>Job Description</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>This role provides planning and personal provision of patient/family experience for individuals with a relationship to IU Health including, but not limited to, donors/prospective donors and community friends. It primarily supports the patient/family experiences through the determination of service standards, amenities, and follow up related to clinical interactions with IU Health. The Patient Navigator is a part of the IU Health Foundation Team and also a part of the Clinical Engagement and Liaison Services Team within the IUH Foundation. This team is responsible for assisting patients and ensuring the Foundation is making the most of our clinical interactions within the system. Provides planning and personal provision of patient/family experience for individuals with a relationship to IU Health including, but not limited to, donors/prospective donors and community friends. Primarily support the patient/family experience through the determination of service standards, amenities, and follow up related to clinical interactions with IU Health. Manages relationships to serve as an extension of the highest levels of administration at IU Health, IU Health Physicians, and the IU School of Medicine. Assures that the experience, needs, and expectations are met and exceeded for high profile individuals referred by the organization and its partners, including but not limited to, IU Health, IU Health Physicians, IU School of Medicine, IU Health Foundation, IU Health Government Affairs, board members, community and religious leaders, and staff. Partners with leaders and team members across the IU Health Foundation to review, refine, and advance strategies within IU Health Liaison Service. Serves as a key ambassador for the organization and its partners.</p> <p>At IU Health, your personal and professional growth is a top priority. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. </li><li>Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience. </li><li>Registered Nurse License and recent clinical experience preferred. </li><li>Requires experience with academic institutions and academic medical centers, preferably IU Health. </li><li>Requires experience with matrix organizations and complex work environments. </li><li>Ability to work with world class faculty, administration, executives, physicians, and staff is required. </li><li>Commitment to representing the role of philanthropy in IU Health's vision is required. </li><li>Understanding of medical system operations is required. </li></ul>
