<p>The Capital Reporting Manager will oversee core aspects of the capital governance process, working closely with senior executives on spend vs plan, identifying trends and opportunities. This role will ensure the correct controls are in place to accurately track, manage and plan spend in line with budgets and strategy.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>CAPITAL REPORTING:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor capital portfolio spend versus annual budget. </li><li>Ensure end-to-end capital management roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders. </li><li>Work with Business Leaders, Site Leads, Finance, and Project Managers to ensure capital management requirements are clearly communicated and understood. </li><li>Ensure the correct systems and templates in place to support project costing and benefits realization. </li><li>Maintain and improve the current capital reporting capabilities. </li><li>Coach and mentor others on capital compliance processes and related tools and templates. </li></ul> <p>DATA MANAGEMENT & ANALYTICS:</p> <ul> <li>Identify trends in capital spend that may result in overspend/underspend by project. </li><li>Ensure robust processes, systems and reporting are in place to monitor capital portfolio spend versus annual target. </li><li>Prepare the monthly capital reporting summary pack for submission to senior executives. </li><li>Support capital site leads and project managers with project costing and analysis. </li><li>Prepare and report on key capital KPIs for the business. </li><li>Ensure the correct systems and templates in place to support business case/new capital submission/approvals. </li></ul> <p>PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Report to Senior Executives on capital expenditure versus plan, identifying key trends and opportunities - chairing meetings as appropriate. </li><li>Ensure timely escalation to site leads and business leaders of capital spend trending off track. </li><li>Provide support for tracking and follow up of actions of audit findings. </li><li>Identify best practice tools for financial management and forecasting. </li></ul> <p>OTHER:</p> <ul> <li>Supervisory duties include oversight of personnel, mentoring, and motivating team members to achieve personal and department goals. </li><li>Adhoc reporting/projects as assigned. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/economics. </li></ul> <p>Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years capital management experience </li><li>Real Estate and Financial Reporting experience is desirable. </li><li>Demonstrable experience of working with multi-disciplinary, cross functional teams. </li><li>Excellent Stakeholder Management and communication skills to build impact and influence. </li><li>Ability to work on own initiative. </li><li>Teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to build effective partnerships with both business and technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization is an essential requirement of this role. </li></ul> <p>Rate: $85,000 USD to $105,000 USD per year</p> <p>CSM Corporation offers a comprehensive benefits package to all regular full-time employees, designed to support the health, well-being, and financial security of our employees.
