This policy will also be emailed to you upon receipt of your application.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Guest Service & Hospitality</p> </li><li> <p>Greet all guests promptly with a friendly and professional attitude.</p> </li><li> <p>Open vehicle doors and assist guests with luggage when needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide clear directions, answer guest questions, and offer basic hotel information.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.</p> </li></ul> <p>Vehicle Handling</p> <ul> <li> <p>Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive carefully and obey all traffic, hotel, and safety regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas, following the lot layout to maximize space.</p> </li><li> <p>Protect guest property inside vehicles and ensure nothing is moved unnecessarily.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect vehicles for existing damage and note any issues before parking.</p> </li></ul> <p>Ticketing & Documentation</p> <ul> <li> <p>Issue valet tickets accurately to guests and keep the matching ticket secured.</p> </li><li> <p>Record vehicle details (make, model, color, plate) and parking location.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow procedures for lost tickets, damaged vehicles, or special requests.</p> </li></ul> <p>Communication & Coordination</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate with bell staff, front desk, and security regarding guest arrivals or VIP guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate clearly on the radio to avoid delays and ensure smooth guest flow.</p> </li><li> <p>Report any suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, or vehicle concerns to management.</p> </li></ul> <p>Safety & Security</p> <ul> <li> <p>Follow all safety protocols, including speed limits, hazard lights, and proper parking techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure keys are stored securely and organized at all times.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain safe walking paths and traffic flow around the entrance and drive.</p> </li></ul> <p>Operational Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>Keep the valet stand clean, stocked, and organized.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage traffic on the front drive to prevent congestion.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with overnight parking logs and coordinate with the parking manager as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Support special events, peak check-in times, and group arrivals.</p> </li></ul> <p>Professional Conduct</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to company policies and hotel standards for customer service and safety.</p> </li><li> <p>Required Qualifications</p> </li><li> <p>Valid Driver's LicenseMust hold an active, clean driver's license with the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.</p> </li><li> <p>Clean Driving RecordNo major violations, DUIs, or recent at-fault accidents.</p> </li><li> <p>Customer Service SkillsExcellent communication, professional demeanor, and ability to provide a welcoming guest experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Physical AbilityAble to run short distances, stand for long periods, lift up to 30-50 lbs., and work outdoors in various weather conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>Safety AwarenessStrong understanding of vehicle safety, traffic flow, and guest safety procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Time ManagementAbility to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently during busy check-in/check-out periods.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous Valet or Hospitality ExperienceExperience in hotels, parking services, or customer-facing roles is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Luxury Brand Service StandardsFamiliarity with Upscale/AAA/Forbes service expectations is beneficial.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Technology SkillsAbility to use valet systems, handheld devices, ticketing apps, and communication radios.</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Professional AppearanceMust follow uniform and grooming standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Reliability & PunctualityConsistent attendance and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.</p> </li><li> <p>TeamworkAbility to work well with supervisors, fellow attendants, doormen, and front desk staff.</p> </li></ul>
