<p>The Back of House Shift Lead is responsible for leading kitchen operations during assigned shifts. This role ensures high-quality food production, safety, cleanliness, and efficient workflow while supporting and coaching team members. We are specifically looking for a night shift position which will require working till 11-11:30 PM.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Shift Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage BOH operations during shifts </li><li>Assign positions, manage breaks, and adjust staffing as needed </li><li>Support strong communication between Back of House and Front of House </li><li>Maintain a calm and positive shift environment </li></ul> <p>Food Safety & Quality</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all food safety procedures are followed (temperatures, holding times, sanitation) </li><li>Uphold Chick-fil-A product quality and presentation standards </li><li>Manage food rotation, labeling, and storage </li></ul> <p>Kitchen Operations</p> <ul> <li>Assist with cooking, prepping, assembling, stocking, and cleaning </li><li>Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness </li><li>Manage fryer filtering, cleaning routines, and basic equipment upkeep </li></ul> <p>Team Development</p> <ul> <li>Train and coach BOH team members during shifts </li><li>Model professionalism, urgency, and company values </li><li>Provide real-time feedback and encouragement </li></ul> <p>Operational Efficiency</p> <ul> <li>Monitor and maintain labor goals during shifts </li><li>Identify bottlenecks and make adjustments quickly </li><li>Communicate operational needs and issues to leadership </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior restaurant or leadership experience preferred </li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving abilities </li><li>Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment </li><li>Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs </li><li>Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling (evenings/weekends) </li><li>(Preferred/Optional) Be able to speak and understand both Spanish and English </li></ul> <p>Preferred Traits</p> <ul> <li>Positive attitude and desire to serve </li><li>Strong sense of responsibility and ownership </li><li>Commitment to food safety and operational excellence </li><li>Ability to stay composed under pressure </li><li>Passion for developing and supporting team members </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>We strive to create a culture of care, respect, and opportunity.
