Whatever your career goals may be, let SMSC help you reach them!</p> <p>Job Overview: The Manager of Accreditation and Performance Improvement plays a vital role in coordinating, overseeing, and planning the Healing Center's compliance and accreditation programs and continuous performance improvement efforts. This position ensures adherence to requirements established by tribal ordinance, accreditation standards, and organization leadership. The Manager of Accreditation and Performance Improvement organize workflows, sets priorities, assigns tasks, enforces deadlines, and makes decisions through analytical and innovative problem-solving within established guidelines.</p> <p>Create Lasting Change: The Impact You'll Have:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate the facility's adherence to licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and performance improvement goals. </li><li>Develop and implement strategic plans to improve quality metrics, such as readmission/relapse rates. </li><li>Serve as a knowledge resource for accreditation programs, ensuring compliance, knowledge retention, and sustainability of program requirements. </li><li>Analyze data, monitor performance, and identify areas for improvement in collaboration with Healing Center leadership. </li><li>Lead performance improvement initiatives, leveraging research methodologies and statistical analysis to support quality improvement efforts. </li><li>Maintain effective reporting and monitoring systems to ensure quality outcomes and regulatory compliance. </li><li>Provides strong leadership by mentoring, coaching, and supporting team members in their daily responsibilities. </li><li>Offers clear guidance, fosters accountability, and addresses performance issues proactively to ensure consistent, high-quality work and professional growth. </li><li>Cultural Competence: </li><li>Ensure care is culturally aligned with the values, traditions, and needs of the Dakota community. </li><li>Work closely with tribal leaders, elders, and cultural advisors to integrate traditional healing practices. </li><li>Advocate for the health and well-being of Native American patients, recognizing the unique challenges they may face. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field required (master's degree preferred). </li><li>Minimum of ten years' experience in performance improvement, quality improvement, and/or accreditation. </li><li>Minimum 3 years of managing, coaching, and mentoring staff. </li></ul> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of research methodologies, organizational systems, and performance improvement principles within a healthcare environment. </li><li>Proficiency with software systems for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting. </li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Ability to present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team cohesion and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. </li><li>Experience in statistical analysis, data systems management, and quality improvement strategies. </li></ul> <p>Outstanding Benefits & Awesome Perks: Enjoy competitive weekly pay, outstanding benefits and advancement opportunities.
