<p>The Military-Affiliated Support / Resource Specialist provides high-level administrative support and specialized student services split equally between the Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) program and the Military-Affiliated Student Center (MASC). This role serves as a critical first point of contact for veteran and military-affiliated students, managing office operations, budgets, assisting with VUB program enrollment and basic skills tutoring, and executing the foundational phases of the MASC student certification operations efforts.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>Two years of related administrative or clerical experience </li><li>Computer experience with data management systems, word processing, and spreadsheets (e.g., Google Workspace) </li><li>Valid Utah State Drivers License or ability to obtain one upon hire </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>U.S. Military Veteran or Affiliated status </li><li>One or more years of experience in tutoring in math, computers, foreign language, science or English composition skills </li><li>Experience with VA education benefits, grant programs (TRiO), or higher education administrative processes </li><li>Experience with VA rules and regulations as it applies to VA Educational Benefits </li><li>Familiarity with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and Personal Identifying Information (PII) Safeguards </li><li>Strong Written and Verbal communication skills </li><li>Knowledge of Banner Student System and Higher Education registration/records/accounting operations and procedures </li></ul> <p>A successful candidate will be willing to Background Check?
