<p>IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Laboratory Technician position at its facility in Greeley, CO.</p> <p>Ideal candidates will possess the following:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A high school diploma or GED (required); an Associate's Degree in Chemistry or related field (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>1+ years of laboratory experience (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with food testing and/or analytical instrumentation (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with data entry and computer applications</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Strong written and verbal communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory</p> </li></ul> <p>This is a position in wet chemistry and duties will include: gravimetric/titrimetric testing methods (pH, moisture, fat, protein), sample receiving, preparing samples for analysis, analyzing samples via written SOPs, evaluating/interpreting data, troubleshooting problems, disposing of samples, cleaning/sanitizing the laboratory and equipment, performing daily QC, and other duties as assigned. Sample preparation coverage in our Microbiology Lab when necessary.</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00 hourly (DOE).
