<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in North Charleston, SC.</p> <p>The Electrical Engineer researches, designs, develops, modifies, evaluates and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.</p> <p>The Electrical Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>Conducts experimental tests on equipment and evaluates results </li><li>Develops specifications for selecting components and equipment to use. May also review vendors' abilities to support development </li></ul> <p>Candidate will work on-site with the customer daily to design and deploy circuit and power system solutions for the rapid prototyping of UAV systems.</p> <p>3D Modeling and 3D Printing skillsets are desired to enable the development of enclosures for prototypes to aid in the maturation of produced systems.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more of experience </li><li>Circuit Design Experience </li><li>Power Systems Experience </li><li>Proficiency in CAD Software/3D Printing Experience </li><li>Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities </li><li>Self-Driven and Creative </li><li>Excellent Communication Skills </li><li>Must Be Willing to Travel for Demos and Test Events </li><li>Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance </li></ul> <p>Desired:</p> <ul> <li>UAV/UAS Experience </li><li>Raspberry Pi Experience </li></ul> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
