This position offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with pressing issues in child welfare, juvenile justice, and children's rights, contributing to work that informs real-world policy and legislative decision-making.</p> <p>Working closely with the Senior Resource Attorney, the Fellow conducts in-depth legal and policy research, analyzing state and federal law alongside emerging trends and data. The Fellow translates complex information into clear, impactful written work, including issue briefs, legislative analyses, and policy recommendations used by the Joint Citizens and Legislative Committee on Children and the Children's Law Center.</p> <p>The Fellow will also take the lead on a focused research project examining a significant issue affecting children, developing practical, evidence-based recommendations for reform. In addition, the Fellow supports preparation for committee meetings and collaborates on ongoing initiatives aimed at improving systems that serve children and families.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone interested in meaningful, high-impact work at the intersection of law, policy, and advocacy, with the opportunity to contribute to tangible improvements in the lives of children.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Law degree and one year of relevant work experience.
