Join us and you will have the chance to work on semiconductor manufacturing projects and other state-of-the-art industrial facilities. Enjoy geographical flexibility within the U.S, with a strong preference for candidates residing in Tempe, AZ, Moon Township, PA, or Portland, OR. Qualified candidates can be considered for remote work.</p> <p>As a Sr. Electrical Engineer, you will serve as an expert within your discipline, applying specialized depth of knowledge to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions. You will oversee designer work, lead project teams, and perform quality reviews of design packages while contributing directly to the most challenging aspects of the design process. Your responsibilities will include engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, and lighting, as well as occasional retrofit of existing building systems. You will prepare technical specifications and construction documents, ensuring alignment between drawings and specifications, and act as the Electrical discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer. Additionally, you will interact directly with clients, owners, and contractors, supporting construction activities on-site and participating in proposals to identify solutions to problems clients didn't even know they had. This position requires a broad perspective and the ability to recommend best practices, improve processes, and lead functional teams. You will work independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations, and serve as a trusted resource for quality and innovation. If you are ready to take ownership of high-impact projects and influence the future of electrical engineering design, we want you on our team!</p> <p>Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking?and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills and we'll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together.</p> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering </li><li>At least 10 years of engineering experience with building electrical systems </li><li>Electrical design experience for semiconductor facilities </li><li>Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards </li><li>Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components, such as Switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc. </li><li>Experience with power system software, preferably ETAP </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Team lead experience </li></ul> <p>Ideally, you'll also have:</p> <ul> <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license </li><li>Senior technical leadership experience </li><li>Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software </li><li>Effective analytical and problem-solving skills </li></ul> <p>#afelectronics #LI-MP1</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>132,900.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>182,000.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
