<p>Sales Trainee</p> <p>Reports to: Senior Sales Manager</p> <p>Location: Culloden, WV (On-Site; No remote work available)</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Service Wire's Sales Trainee Program launches recent graduates and early career professionals to successfully transition into rewarding sales-oriented careers with the opportunity and intent to advance within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem solving, a growth-mindset and a desire for professional advancement.</p> <p>The selected individual will sell products by quoting, promoting, and accurately processing customer orders and should demonstrate product knowledge with a strong customer focus.</p> <p>Task/Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Learn product catalog, relevant specifications details and quality system </li><li>Complete relevant safety, sales and marketing training as determined and assigned by management </li><li>Analyze relevant sales data to aid sales team in servicing customers </li><li>Manage special sales projects and present findings </li><li>Negotiate prices and terms of sales agreements </li><li>Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders </li><li>Maintain complete and updated customer records through Salesforce </li><li>Answer customers' questions about products, prices and availability, or credit terms </li><li>Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications </li><li>Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs. </li><li>Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations </li><li>Recognize and analyze industry trends and relevant developments </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Industrial Distribution or similar fields required </li><li>Basic understanding of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. </li><li>Strong oral expression and comprehension - ability to communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, agents and other external sources </li><li>Adaptable to best practices for sales and business development processes. </li><li>Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience a plus </li><li>Microsoft Office Suite experience </li><li>Positive Attitude and willingness to learn </li></ul>
