<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, organize, control and direct operations and activities related to student athletics and related programs. </li><li>Direct the activities of the Athletic department in accordance with the policies of the CCSC Board of School Trustees; assure compliance with IHSAA rules and regulations. </li><li>Direct communications, schedules and promotional functions to meet student athletic needs and assure smooth and efficient athletic activities; oversee the development and implementation of athletic and sports team functions, activities, plans, strategies, goals and objectives. </li><li>Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; interview and recommend candidates for coaching positions; coordinate work assignments and review work to assure compliance with established guidelines and procedures. </li><li>Coordinate and direct the planning, development and implementation of District-wide athletic schedules and calendars; confer with school site administrators and staff concerning athletic programs, schedules, calendars and related concerns; modify schedules and calendars to meet school site needs as appropriate. </li><li>Coordinate supervision of all corporation athletic events; assure proper preparation of school facilities including materials and equipment used for practices and sport events. </li><li>Monitor academic progress of student athletes to assure compliance with established requirements; promote student academic achievement and educational opportunities. </li><li>Lead all efforts to enhance athlete participation in athletic programs; promote CCSC athletic programs to the community and oversee promotional materials and communication. </li><li>Ensure high standards and accountability of student eligibility by maintaining an accurate record of sports physicals, academic progress, attendance and discipline data. </li></ul> <p>Salary: Commensurate based on experiences and qualifications</p> <p>For questions please contact: Tom Hughes, Jr/Sr High Principal</p> <p>thomas.hughes@clinton.k12.in.us</p> <p>765-249-2255 Ext 2251</p> <p>Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Successful teaching and coaching experience </li><li>Head varsity coaching experience (preferred) </li><li>Building level administrative license (preferred) </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate must ensure high standards and high accountability, possess strong administrative, organizational skills and attention to detail.</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. </li><li>Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards </li><li>Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone </li></ul> <p>Benefits: TERF, 401A, 403B, Several Health Insurance Options, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellness Clinic, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance</p>
