<p>This position is for a full-time school psychologist whose role will include conducting initial and reevaluations for the purpose of determining eligibility for special education. This school psychologist may be assigned to complete a portion of evaluations for students who attend out of district placements as well an assignment to schools within the district based on student need. The role as a school psychologist may include attending MTSS and/or SEL teams, dedicated to determining appropriate interventions through the general education model for support.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Massachusetts DESE licensure as a School Psychologist </li><li>Extensive evaluation and assessment experience </li><li>Strong ability to write comprehensive evaluation reports in accordance with federal and state guidelines, including specific and individualized recommendations for teachers and parents </li><li>Experience in data collection and analysis </li><li>Professional understanding of and experience with special education processes and eligibility guidelines </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Experience consulting and collaborating with team members to implement recommendations </li><li>Ability to work effectively with a wide range of team members and providers both in and out of district </li><li>Experience with MTSS and PBIS </li><li>Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to work within timelines and across settings </li></ul>
