This value is created through the management of parts procurement, scheduling & the distribution process for mid-west and eastern region branches.</p> <p>Summary of Key Responsibilities: Responsible for parts distribution, including shipping, receiving and delivery. Maintain a safe, orderly and well-organized warehouse environment. Inventory management and all administration associated with the process including effective communication with suppliers & branch personnel.</p> <p>Vehicle Operation & DOT</p> <ul> <li>Hook trailer securely and safely </li><li>Drive truck and trailer safely and lawfully </li><li>Operate and assist in maintaining forklift </li><li>Maintain valid class A CDL license as required by DOT </li><li>Maintain a clean and orderly cab inside and out </li><li>Complete Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) </li><li>Complete daily Exemption Log corresponding to time sheet </li><li>Comply with the FMCSA Hours of Service ruleset assigned </li></ul> <p>Distribution of Parts & Materials</p> <ul> <li>Ship parts as directed using most efficient and cost-effective methods </li><li>Deliver parts according to schedule </li><li>Efficiently manage on-duty and drive time </li><li>Navigate and travel the most efficient delivery routes </li><li>Ensure parts are loaded safely and are adequately secured in truck/trailer </li><li>Pull and load orders accurately </li></ul> <p>Parts & Materials management and organization</p> <ul> <li>Review incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy & reasonableness </li><li>Maintain supply of shipping materials and equipment needed to fulfil order shipments </li><li>Pick up parts/supplies sourced locally on an as needed basis </li><li>Create staging/stocking areas as needed </li><li>Maintain a well-organized stocking system for ease of access and locating </li><li>Complete accurate and ongoing cycle counting as directed </li><li>Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and audits </li></ul> <p>Customer Relations</p> <ul> <li>Conduct yourself in a professional & courteous manner when interacting with vendors and Pac-Van staff </li><li>Manage customer expectations </li><li>Ensure effective two-way communication </li></ul> <p>Safety</p> <ul> <li>Operate equipment in a safe manner </li><li>Use all personal protective equipment properly </li><li>Participate in Driver and Toolbox Talks </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>50% driving and 50% in shop environment.
