<p>Department Overview</p> <p>The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute is an international leader in research and cancer treatment. Our vision is a world freed from the burden of cancer, and our guiding principles remind us we are a bold, supportive, and connected team.</p> <p>The Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology currently has over 110 faculty and is comprised of programs in general hematology, solid tumor oncology, bone marrow transplant & cellular therapy, hematological malignancies, and palliative medicine. The Division also oversees faculty in a number of community practices, known as Community Hematology and Oncology (CHO), and maintains a strong collaboration with the VA Medical Center, linked to the main campus by a skybridge.? Our clinical practices enroll more than 5,000 new patients each year.</p> <p>The Division, the largest component of the Knight Cancer Institute, aims to provide outstanding patient care, ensure access to high-quality clinical and translational clinical trials, and integrate basic research. The Division has grown significantly over the past decade and is projected to continue growing significantly.</p> <p>Located in beautiful Portland, Oregon, OHSU offers a highly collaborative atmosphere within a comprehensive healthcare-focused university with particular expertise in cancer, neurosciences, and cardiovascular medicine.
