The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.</p> <p>Position:Long-Term Substitute Preschool Special Education Teacher Assignment Dates: 04/28/2025- 06/25/2025 (Dates are subject to change) Location: CHIPS</p> <p>Description: DESE licensed teacher for a substantially separate preschool classroom. The preschool classroom is a setting that serves children with identified disabilities.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with Special Education population. </li><li>Certification in Early Childhood Education AND Moderate Disabilities preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) approach and techniques preferred. </li><li>Experience working with preschool aged children with and without disabilities. </li><li>Evaluating children to determine eligibility for special education </li><li>Developing and implementing IEPs in a substantially separate classroom setting </li><li>Data collection and writing of progress notes for students. </li><li>Lesson planning and implementation </li><li>Collaborations with colleagues, including staff meetings and professional development </li><li>Other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the position and as assigned by the preschool coordinator. </li></ul>
