<p>ELECTRICAL ENGINEER</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to draft electrical schematics detailing the integration of backplane and peripheral I/O subsystems in embedded computing enclosures. The role involves managing board layouts, generating bill of materials (BOMs), completing design verification processes, and providing support during the manufacture and integration of board and backplane assemblies.</p> <ul> <li>Draft electrical schematics for embedded computing enclosures. </li><li>Manage board layouts, including the construction of library parts. </li><li>Generate bill of materials (BOMs) and other manufacturing documentation. </li><li>Complete design verification processes and required documentation. </li><li>Provide support during the manufacture of board and backplane assemblies and chassis integration. </li></ul> <p>JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Electrical engineering </li><li>Board Layout </li><li>PCB Design </li><li>Digital and Analog Circuit Design </li><li>BOM generation </li><li>High Speed Board Design (>10Gig) </li><li>Schematic capture </li><li>Experience with VME, VPX, CPCI, and VXS system busses </li><li>Design Experience with Minimizing EMI and ESD issues </li><li>Ability to collaborate with customers regarding System Engineering and Architecture </li><li>Ability to resolve field issues with customers </li><li>10-12 years of experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry </li><li>Knowledge of printed circuit board design, layout, and manufacturing </li><li>Experience with the Defense and Aerospace industry standards (AS9100, AS9102, Mil-STD, DoD) </li><li>Experience working with outside vendors/board houses </li><li>Ability to handle multiple projects in an environment of changing priorities and short timeframes </li><li>Experience with Mentor Graphics </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.</p> <p>Atrenne provides eligible employees with a range of benefits including medical insurance plans, dental insurance, vision insurance, short and long term disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits, Vacation, sick and holiday pay and a 401k plan with company match.</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a hybrid position in Brockton,MA.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Mar 21, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
