Your work will drive recommendations in the context of key business trends, valuation considerations and deal structuring alternatives.</p> <p>Essential Functions & Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide technical and advisory financial and accounting due diligence services to private equity clients and companies.</p> </li><li> <p>Actively manage projects by driving timelines forward, conducting frequent team check-ins, managing project budgets, and review of project analyses, issues and deliverables.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage multiple engagements and teams at a time.</p> </li><li> <p>Support team members through their performance of complex analyses, including analysis of cash flows, quality of assets and earnings, operating and profitability trends, working capital and identification of potential liabilities and risks.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive internal proposal processes, including team communication and proposal preparation.</p> </li><li> <p>Play an integral role in developing relationships with current and prospective clients, identify market opportunities and articulate our value proposition.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive consistency in process, analyses, and conclusions across projects, clients, and industries.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technical, due diligence and deal-related expertise and guidance to project teams (e.g., technical accounting, QofE adj., NWC, SPA review, complex analyses, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a reviewer throughout project execution and prior to project delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Execute on initiatives to enhance delivery processes, methodologies, and tools.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>CPA and knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)</p> </li><li> <p>Master's degree in accounting or MBA (with an accounting undergraduate degree)</p> </li><li> <p>A preferred minimum of 3-5 years of financial audit experience (preferably with a top ten public accounting firm), investment banking, financial due diligence, corporate finance, financial consulting or other M&A experience</p> </li><li> <p>A minimum of 10 years of experience in the transaction advisory services practice of a top ten national accounting firm and a minimum of 3-5 years in the role of Director and/or Senior Director within that practice.</p> </li><li> <p>Team player with exceptional verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced MS Excel skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced and unconventional work environment are essential</p> </li><li> <p>Possess an uncommon drive and entrepreneurial spirit</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>10 years of experience in public accounting or related field </li><li>10 years supervisory experience </li><li>Must have active CPA or equivalent certification </li><li>Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary </li><li>Proficient use of applicable technology </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally </li><li>Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills </li><li>Must be able to travel based on client and business needs </li></ul>
