<p>Ensure the seamless receiving and shipping of aircraft materials with precision and attention to detail, following established procedures to guarantee quality and efficiency.</p> <p>Your commitment to accuracy and excellence ensures that every part arrives and departs on time, supporting the smooth operation of critical aviation processes!</p> <p>Tasks</p> <p>Your tasks as Aviation Store Specialist may include, among others:</p> <ul> <li>Process storage and pulling of said material </li><li>Proactively work to resolve discrepancies as they occur </li><li>Support, cooperate, and communicate with all colleagues, including purchasing staff </li><li>Physical handling of material </li><li>Operate equipment as directed </li><li>Input data in EDP system in keeping with procedures </li><li>Coordinate with Lufthansa Cargo and other service providers as required </li><li>Work with and support customer requirements </li><li>Perform record keeping and filing as needed </li><li>Work according to, and support the Quality Management System </li><li>Process documentation according to instruction and procedures </li><li>Recognize significance of required airworthiness certificates for aircraft material and properly applying associated regulatory requirements </li><li>All other duties assigned or required </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma/GED required </li><li>Bachelor's degree desirable </li><li>Experience in aviation logistics in handling aviation material desirable </li><li>Fluency in English language required </li><li>Training: DGR certified or the ability to become certified </li><li>MS Office, especially MS Excel for reporting purposes as user </li><li>Ability to travel as needed </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license </li><li>Evening Shift: 3pm-11:30pm </li><li>Willingness to work shifts, holidays, and/or weekends as necessary </li><li>Manage constant time pressure </li><li>Manage high stress levels </li><li>Must be able to lift 70lbs </li><li>Must be able to operate a forklift </li><li>Outdoor weather conditions </li><li>Noise pollution </li><li>Must be able to obtain authorization to access Airport Security Areas if needed </li><li>Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S. </li><li>CV/Resume required </li><li>Company may provide relocation assistance </li></ul> <p>About Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC.</p> <p>Lufthansa Technik is the worldwide leading independent provider of maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft.
