<p>Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career as a Mechanical Estimator?</p> <p>Seeking well-qualified commercial plumbing and HVAC/R estimator with 4-7 years experience to prepare complete mechanical services estimates for assigned project(s) of various sizes and complexities. Will be responsible to prepare estimates through review of specifications and drawings, attendance at pre-bid meetings and calculated complete takeoff of scope of work. Will interface with customer and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility; follow awarded contracts; estimate/price extra work items, change orders, credits, procurement of material.</p> <p>Qualifications: Educational and experience requirements include 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience, 4-7 years estimating, cost control and/or engineering experience related to similar facility construction, advanced knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control, ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems. Must have a thorough knowledge of plumbing and heating/ventilation/air conditioning. A Master Plumbing License is a plus. Demeanor must be professional and respectful. A familiarity with basic computer/PC programs and estimating software and Auto CAD is required. Familiarity with FastEST estimating software a plus. Must be willing to receive continued training in technologically advanced estimating disciplines. Current, valid PA Driver's License is required.
