<p>Description</p> <p>Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a full-time Cafe & Food Preparation Team Member to join our Wyomissing Crew!</p> <p>Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week.</p> <p>Set Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Tuesdays 10am - 6:30pm </li><li>Wednesdays 10am - 6:30pm </li><li>Thursday 10am - 6:30pm </li><li>Friday 7am - 3:30pm or 10am - 6:30pm </li><li>Saturdays 7am - 3:30pm </li></ul> <p>Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.</p> <p>Hourly Pay: $15.00-$17.00</p> <p>Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits at Kimberton Whole Foods: Extensive Medical Coverage, Vision Plan, Dental Plan, 25% off Store-Wide Discount, Employer Paid Short-Term Disability, Employer Paid Long-Term Disability, Employer Paid Life Insurance, Employer Paid AD&D, Voluntary Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Account - Healthcare & Dependent Care, 401K with matching 3% after one year and at least 1000 hours worked, Paid Time Off</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing:</p> <ul> <li>Provides excellent customer service to all. </li><li>Food production, such as: sandwiches, wraps, and deli salads to maintain the grab & go case. </li><li>Wash, peel, and cut various foods including fruits and vegetables. </li><li>Slicing, packaging, and labeling deli meats and cheeses. </li><li>Prepares drink in the following stations: espresso, smoothie, and fresh juice. </li><li>Stocks and maintains the coffee, soup station, and bakery case. </li><li>Wash dishes, pots & pans. </li><li>Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware. </li><li>Sweep and mop kitchen floor. </li><li>Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the café including trash, recycling, and eating areas. </li><li>Adhere to opening and closing practices. </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. </li><li>Assist in other areas of the store as needed. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in food production and food safety practices </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Physical Capabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Full Sense Range (Vision, Hearing, and Sense of Smell) - the ability to read product labels, distinguish color and smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with customers and co-workers. </li><li>Lifting, Gripping and Carrying Objects - Up to 50 to 75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products. </li><li>Stooping, Squatting, and Kneeling - Stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. </li><li>Walking - Short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. </li><li>Standing - Prolonged standing. </li><li>Work Environment - Movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking/standing) rather than sedentary (sitting). </li><li>Climate - Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis. </li></ul>
