<p>About the Role</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a proven understanding of the C#/.NET development stack, with a strong focus on cloud services. You will be working primarily on supporting APIs and microservices across several product verticals, with a special focus on scalability and reliability. Our engineering culture emphasizes rigor through code reviews and automated testing, enabling us to ship confidently and sustainably.</p> <p>You will be working alongside other passionate engineers, designers, and product owners, all focusing on delivering an excellent user experience with a strong emphasis on customer success.</p> <p>Position Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain APIs and backend services, focusing on scalability and reliability </li><li>Write clean, efficient, testable code, ensuring best practices in software development are followed </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers, to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions </li><li>Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback </li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation for software applications, including design documents, API documentation, and user guides </li><li>Contribute to the enhancement of the software development lifecycle, including automation, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines </li></ul> <p>Required Experience, Skills, and Education</p> <ul> <li>Well-founded understanding of the C# language and .NET development </li><li>Deep experience building RESTful APIs and distributed services, serving millions of requests per day </li><li>Strong foundations working with relational databases, such as MySQL and PostgreSQL </li><li>Comfortable following test-driven, clean coding principles </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in the email space, particularly ISPs, ESPs, and CRMs </li><li>Experience with cloud services, specifically AWS </li><li>Experience with mobile development, including iOS and Android </li><li>Experience with infrastructure-as-code, e.g., Terraform and Packer </li></ul> <p>About Validity</p> <p>For over 20 years, tens of thousands of organizations across the world have relied on Validity solutions to target, contact, engage, and retain customers - using trustworthy data as a key advantage.
