Physician instructors may be needed in the areas of family medicine, general internal medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, surgery, neurology and/or other specialties. Applications to this pool will be considered to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions during academic year 2024-2025. Instructors prepare and perform didactic instruction for and evaluation of osteopathic medical students, including small group teaching and clinical skills laboratory sessions, and/or serve as a clinical content expert/facilitator in the Pathway to Health and Wellness Curriculum.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>DO, MD or equivalent degree </li><li>AOA or ABMS board eligible or certified </li><li>Active State of Ohio provider license in good standing or recent license in good standing for retired physicians </li><li>Teaching experience in medical education </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Team teaching experience </li><li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to relate to diverse faculty, staff, students, and community members. </li></ul> <p>Department HCOM - Primary Care Pay Rate</p> <p>Pay is commensurate with education and experience, while also considering internal equity and is accompanied by an excellent retirement plan with up to a 14% company contribution, paid sick leave, and access to professional development programs.
