Our culture is grounded in four core pillars:</p> <p>Teamwork - We succeed together.</p> <p>Quality - We take pride in what we build.</p> <p>Commitment - We show up for each other and our customers.</p> <p>Drive - We push boundaries and never settle.</p> <p>If you're looking for a company that values your contributions, encourages bold thinking, and has a proven track record of delivering exceptional products, then we want to hear from you.</p> <p>Be part of a team that builds more than just HVAC systems-we build careers.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Weld, fabricate, and assist pipefitters in the installation of varying types of industrial piping into the projects piping systems.</p> <p>FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION</p> <ul> <li>Weld metal parts together using gas welding, brazing, and any combination of welding processes. </li><li>Performs related tasks such as cutting and grinding. </li><li>Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products in preparation to weld. </li><li>Layout, position, align, cut, assemble, and fit metal components together in various body positions and in various places. </li><li>Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding. </li><li>Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, gas-shielded arc. </li><li>Weld metal materials to piping systems equipment using the appropriate welding procedure for the various equipment and metal types involved. </li><li>Identify all safety risks and requirements. </li><li>Must be willing to work in other welding departments when there is no pipework to be completed. </li><li>Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and have reliable transportation is a must. </li><li>Must be able to bend, twist, push and pull </li><li>Must have a can-do, positive attitude, and the ability to thrive working in a fast-paced team environment. </li><li>Must pass a background check and drug test. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION</p> <ul> <li>Vocational or Technical school training in the welding field or 5 years' experience </li><li>Experience working as an Industrial Pipe Fitter is preferred. </li><li>Dual Shield FCAW experience is a plus. </li><li>Exceptional math skills </li></ul> <p>SKILLS & ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to review and verify blueprints for job location fit / function. </li><li>Must be able to use blueprints to determine pipe sizes, lengths, and orientation. </li><li>Must be able to Braze (Heating and cooling certification), MIG, and TIG weld. </li><li>Welding Test / Certification required: Able to be certified Certification ASW B2.1-1 Weld Test 2" schedule 80 Carbon steel 6g, TIG all the way out, visual and bend inspection. </li><li>Must have the ability to weld in 2g, 4g, and 6 g conditions. </li><li>Independently lift and carry objects up to 20 lbs. routinely and 50 lbs. frequently and 80 lbs. occasionally. </li><li>Must have the ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds. </li><li>Must be able to kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, twist, finger, grasp, and feel on a constant and repetitive basis. </li><li>Must be able to perform repetitive motions. </li><li>Must be able to work with Victaulic pipe fittings, socket welded fittings, and threaded pipe. </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS:</p> <p>Core Benefits Include:</p> <ul> <li>Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrues starting on your first day of employment. </li><li>Referral Bonuses </li></ul> <p>Health & Wellness Benefits (available after 60 days of employment):</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance through UnitedHealthcare (UHC). </li><li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care Account (DCA) through Chard Snyder. </li><li>Coverage available for employees, spouses, and dependents. </li></ul> <p>Retirement Planning (available after 90 days of employment):</p> <ul> <li>401(k) Plan with matching contributions up to 3% per bi-weekly pay period through OneAmerica. </li></ul> <p>Recognized Paid Holidays (for full-time employees after 90 days):</p> <ul> <li>Memorial Day </li><li>Independence Day </li><li>Labor Day </li><li>Thanksgiving Day & the following Friday </li><li>Christmas Day </li><li>New Year's Day </li><li>Two Floating Holidays (determined annually) </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer: Arizon Companies is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in the workplace.
