<p>Job#: 3014544</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Department: Public Safety IT</p> <p>Location: Multiple sites across Baltimore City</p> <p>Duration: Multiyear</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The ID Badge Specialist supports the Public Safety IT Card Services team by administering identity and access credentials across assigned locations. This role is highly customer-facing and requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. The position may include work in clinical or secure environments.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for badge-related inquiries and provide high-quality customer service </li><li>Produce and issue ID badges and credentials using specialized software, printers, and imaging equipment </li><li>Process badge requests through online systems and in-person service channels </li><li>Support high-volume badge production initiatives, including planning and execution </li><li>Ensure compliance with identity management policies, procedures, and security standards </li><li>Respond to customer requests via email, phone, and in person </li><li>Track inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure operational readiness </li><li>Maintain operational metrics and communicate trends or issues to management </li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments </li><li>Perform additional duties as needed to support Card Services operations </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in administrative support, customer service, or service desk environments </li><li>Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail </li><li>Proficient computer skills and strong written communication abilities </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and web-based systems </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations </li><li>Ability to work standard business hours with flexibility for special projects </li><li>Willingness to travel between multiple locations within the Baltimore area </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with identity management technologies (proximity cards, smart cards, card readers) </li><li>Familiarity with badge printers and card production hardware </li><li>Comfort working in clinical or secure environments </li><li></li></ul> <p>Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
