<p>About this role:</p> <p>Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Relationship Advisory Senior Manager within Wealth & Investment Management as part of the Financial Relationship Advisory (FRA) organization. This leader will oversee teams of Financial Advisors driving strategic business performance, advisor productivity, asset growth, and risk-managed client outcomes. The role is responsible for supervising day-to-day advisory operations, developing talent, executing business plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and supervisory requirements.</p> <p>For additional information about this line of business, please visit the Wells Fargo Careers site at wellsfargojobs.com.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Manage and develop teams of Financial Advisors in roles with moderate complexity and risk </li><li>Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated </li><li>Assess current financial portfolio and recommend changes </li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development </li><li>Develop and execute team business plan, productivity, leadership, individual development, skill development, action planning and objective setting </li><li>Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Financial Relationship Advisory team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables </li><li>Make daily decisions for driving results related to productivity, new accounts, asset growth </li><li>Resolve issues related to team supervision, work allocation and daily operations </li><li>Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements </li><li>Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including most experienced managers </li><li>Lead team to achieve objectives </li><li>Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Financial Relationship Advisory </li><li>Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of Financial Relationship Advisory experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education </li><li>3+ years of management or leadership experience </li><li>US only: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Series 9 and 10 </li><li>Proven experience leading Financial Advisors, Wealth Advisors, or Relationship Managers within a wealth management or financial advisory organization </li><li>Senior level leadership experience managing managers and/or client-facing advisory teams in a regulated financial services environment </li><li>Demonstrated success driving asset growth (AUM), new account acquisition, revenue growth, and advisor productivity </li><li>Strong background in wealth management strategy, portfolio review, client relationship management, and risk aware financial recommendations </li><li>Deep working knowledge of FINRA regulations, supervisory procedures, compliance requirements, and risk management frameworks </li><li>Experience with financial advisor supervision, including coaching, performance management, work allocation, and issue resolution </li><li>Track record of business planning and execution, including productivity planning, goal setting, forecasting, and performance metrics </li><li>Ability to make independent, sound business decisions in environments involving moderate to high financial, regulatory, and operational risk </li><li>Expertise in process improvement, operational efficiency, and risk control enhancement within financial advisory operations </li><li>Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience collaborating across compliance, legal, operations, and senior leadership </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead through change, support transformation initiatives, and scale advisory team performance </li><li>Proven success in talent development, including coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and building high-performing advisory teams </li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage experienced advisors and senior managers </li><li>Solid financial acumen, including understanding of revenue models, cost management, and resource allocation </li></ul> <p>Job Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 9 and 10 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required </li><li>This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents. </li><li>Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
