As a Sr Systems Security Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to ensure continual compliance to NIST 800-53 controls, perform continuous monitoring, implement the Risk Management Framework for a key system within SNC.</p> <p>Typical tasks include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Continuous Monitoring </li><li>Oversee the implementation of security controls </li><li>Provide advice on NIST 800-53 Controls </li><li>Respond to system security incidents </li><li>Interface with Internal Customers </li><li>Support Data Transfer requests </li><li>Guide Risk Analysis on system changes and enhancements </li><li>Research, evaluate, and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies in alignment with our IT security strategy </li></ul> <p>As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Continuous monitoring of information system</p> </li><li> <p>Interfacing with internal customers</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting audits</p> </li><li> <p>Writing and maintaining RMF (Risk Management Framework), eMASS artifacts</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications You Must Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 10 years of relevant experience</p> </li><li> <p>Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education</p> </li><li> <p>Experience and a solid understanding of the NIST 800-53 Controls</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Risk Management Framework</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Agile - ability to adapt with changing requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Experience manage team projects</p> </li><li> <p>An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications We Prefer:</p> <ul> <li> <p>CISSP certification</p> </li><li> <p>Relevant experience as an ISSM, ISSO</p> </li><li> <p>People person. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
