<p>Primary Purpose</p> <p>The G&A Financial Staff Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and visibility of Mountaire's General & Administrative (G&A) financials. This position supports financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities-including month-end close, account reconciliations, and budget management-to provide insights and transparency across all G&A cost centers.</p> <p>Major Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial reports. </li><li>Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger for G&A cost centers and ensure timely visibility of financial performance. </li><li>Support budgeting processes and provide variance analysis for internal stakeholders. </li><li>Partner with department leaders to deliver monthly cost review presentations and ad hoc reporting to enhance financial decision-making. </li><li>Assist in ongoing financial analysis projects and process improvements. </li><li>Foster a culture of continuous learning and development in alignment with Mountaire's values. </li><li>Promote and maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment in accordance with company policies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. </li><li>2 - 3 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience. </li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems or ERP platforms is a plus. </li><li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial data clearly and effectively. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills. </li></ul> <p>#LI-TB1</p> <p>#INDDE</p>
