This role plays a critical part in ensuring our equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, cranes, skid steers, and other construction machinery. </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, braking systems, and powertrain components. </li><li>Conduct equipment inspections to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. </li><li>Utilize diagnostic software, tools, and manufacturer service manuals to accurately identify and resolve equipment failures. </li><li>Occasionally perform field service repairs as needed to minimize project downtime. </li><li>Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records. </li><li>Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies. Order parts and supplies when necessary. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment. </li><li>Stay current on evolving heavy equipment technology and repair practices. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. </li><li>Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment components. </li><li>Completion of a Diesel Technology program preferred. </li><li>CDL A preferred; minimum CDL B required. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes. </li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment with changing priorities. </li><li>You must provide your own basic tool. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills. </li></ul> <p>What we offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive compensation </li><li>100% company paid health insurance for employee and dependents </li><li>100% company paid dental and vision for employee and dependents </li><li>401k with 3% company match </li><li>Overtime after 8 hours </li><li>PTO and vacation time </li><li>And much more! </li></ul>
