<p>Discipleship Ministries</p> <p>Nashville, Tennessee 37203</p> <p>Full Time , Remote</p> <p>Director, Preaching Ministries (Exempt), Reports to Executive Director, Worship Ministries</p> <p>The Director, Preaching Ministries position fulfills the mission of Discipleship Ministries by directing the work of the office of Preaching Ministries by convening strategic conversations, being the broker of knowledge, and creating excellent resources that support leaders (clergy and laity) in their preaching ministries, across all contexts (multicultural, multiracial, multigenerational, etc.).</p> <p>Creates and manages a plan for the development of preaching resources, together with the Worship Resources Team - and working closely with the Marketing & Delivery Team to share created and acquired resources on the Discipleship Ministries platform - to strengthen preaching across the connection. Also, this position creates and manages a plan for training leaders in conferences and/or congregations to strengthen leaders in preaching ministries. Includes training opportunities through Hey Preacher and other opportunities using webinars and/or distance learning, web-based self-training, and face-to-face.
