In fulfillment of its motto, Lux et Spes ("Light and Hope"), the College cultivates in its students the competence to think, act, and lead with courage towards creating a more just and compassionate world.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Reporting to the Associate Dean of Admission for Campus Programming, Stonehill College is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to manage the Admission Welcome Center and to welcome, direct, and accommodate prospective students, families, and other visitors to the College. The Front Desk Coordinator is an 11-month position, with an expected schedule of June 15 to May 15.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Greet and assist visitors within the Admission Welcome Center in May Hall, provide general information about the College, and direct guests within the building and across campus. </li><li>Provide operational management of the Welcome Center, ensuring the organization, cleanliness, and hospitality of the space. </li><li>Serve in a building liaison role to other offices located in May Hall and as the Welcome Center liaison to the Departments of Facilities Management, Conferences & Events, and Campus Police. </li><li>Oversee Welcome Center inventory, including display, storage, and ordering/acquisition of materials. </li><li>Support the Campus Programming Team with the planning and execution of events. </li><li>Assist in managing the student ambassadors in the Lux et Spes Society. </li><li>Support the Admission Operation Team with answering phone calls and responding to emails, and inquiries. </li><li>Provide administrative support for the Office of Undergraduate Admission and Division of Enrollment Management. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <p>Previous experience in a public-facing customer service role and a high school diploma are required. A two-year associate's degree or a one-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred.</p> <p>Candidates must possess a demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Occasional evening and weekend commitments during the academic year are required in this role.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Physical Demands</p> <p>While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
