<p>DIRECTOR, MARKETING & DIGITAL</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>June 2025</p> <p>The following is the basic job description for the Director, Marketing & Digital position current as of the date noted above. Any alterations, substitutions, or additions must be approved in writing by two of the following people: Director of Human Resource and the President/Treasurer. This position reports directly to the Executive Team.</p> <p>Job Classification: Exempt</p> <p>High-Level Objectives:</p> <ul> <li>Drive revenue & margin growth and profitability, with a primary emphasis on driving net new business, capturing more of existing customer share, establishing pricing strategies and the development of both new and existing digital channels. </li><li>Owns customer-facing technologies, inclusive of ecommerce platform, CRM, integrations, along with related vendor partnerships. </li><li>Provide strategic leadership and vision to drive omni-channel strategy and oversee the execution of key initiatives and tactics to ensure customers & prospects have a consistent, seamless experience across all channels. </li><li>Drives ecommerce conversions, as well as top and middle of funnel activities to qualify leads across digital, traditional and experiential channels </li><li>Foster accountability and ensure alignment cross-functionally, inclusive of outsourced providers, by establishing relevant performance metrics that impact the customer experience and ultimately, drive growth and align with overarching Company strategic objectives. </li><li>This role will help shape the company's future, as a member of and collaborating closely with the senior leadership team and reporting directly to the Executive Team. </li></ul> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>This person is responsible for the development and management of the omni-channel customer experience, driving revenue and value-added services, ensuring cross-functional alignment and instituting best practices and standard operating procedures. This role leads the Marketing, Ecommerce and Pricing team functions while driving strategic growth plans in collaboration with sales, operations, and technology. This is an integral role that will lead transformative change, ensuring cross-functional alignment.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Leadership & Team Management: </li><li>Collaborates with senior leadership team to develop long-term strategic goals </li><li>Fosters an environment of teamwork across the organization </li><li>Oversee and mentor the marketing, Ecommerce and pricing teams, providing guidance, performance feedback and development opportunities </li><li>Sets annual budgets and functional level goals </li><li>Ensure accountability within the team and alignment with sales and other teams to meet functional goals </li><li>Revenue & Profit Growth </li><li>Forecasts Revenue, margin and volume goals for the digital platforms and collaborates with sales on overall company performance metrics </li><li>Develops omni-channel strategies and tactics, aligning sales/marketing/Ecommerce activities, to achieve revenue targets </li><li>Identifies and provides vision and supporting data for business development and retention opportunities, including but not limited to, customer acquisition, new service enhancements, channels, etc. </li><li>Own the full digital customer acquisition funnel, including paid media, SEO, email/SMS, and conversion optimization </li><li>Provides essential sales enablement and operational support. Sets pricing strategy to best meet profit goals, taking into account market conditions and margin expansion. </li><li>Data Analytics & Reporting </li><li>Provide insight on reporting to ensure accuracy based on objectives </li><li>Ensure all teams are properly trained on various reporting platforms and identify reporting gaps to ensure they have the tools to be successful </li><li>Provide strategic oversight and refinement of dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) as the business evolves </li><li>Identify analytics or automation tools that could increase efficiencies and provide relevant data </li><li>Omnichannel Customer Experience (Cx) & Customer Journeys </li><li>Responsible for developing the omnichannel client experience, including journey mapping and tiered account support, in conjunction with sales, operations, IT and accounting </li><li>Remain as up-to-date as possible on new potential services, technologies and solutions that could improve Cx inclusive of marketplace and customer integrations </li><li>Champions organizational adoption and digital transformation roadmaps, including but not limited to, website optimization, site design, UX/UI, service enhancements, CRM, chat, SMS implementation, ecommerce and other channel integrations </li><li>Go-to-Market (GTM) & Brand Strategy </li><li>Articulates and adapts brand strategy, value proposition and visual identity across channels, to align with business objectives and ensure a cohesive and compelling brand presence. </li><li>Drives GTM strategy, ensuring development of necessary SOPs and KPI's </li><li>Leads voice of customer, market insights analysis and A/B testing </li><li>Identifies customer segmentation solutions to develop targeted, impactful campaigns </li><li>Analyzes, tests and maintains pricing strategies, providing recommendations for further optimization </li><li>Vendor Partnerships </li><li>Establish strong working relationships with outside marketing technology vendors to execute goals on time and within budget </li><li>Identify and onboard potential new vendors based on organizational needs </li></ul> <p>Ideal Candidate Profile</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. </li><li>Work Experience: 10+years of sales and marketing with a minimum of 5+ years leading teams. Significant ecommerce background and experience with change management execution. </li><li>Companies Worked For: Business-to-business distribution companies, manufacturing firms or retail businesses. Security industry a big plus. </li><li>Technology Experience or Certifications: Relevant e-mail service providers and CRM software (D365, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc), ecommerce platform (Adobe Commerce, etc.) and other related digital marketing tools experience </li><li>Travel/Location: St. Louis, MO preferred.
