Troubleshoot, repair, or assist service technician with repairs to HVAC equipment.  Install and commission smart actuators.  Install MCV actuators.  Run duct work.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct monthly preventative maintenance, inspect/test fire extinguishers, exit lights, first aid kits, tamper switches, emergency generator, emergency eyewash and shower stations. </p> </li><li> <p>Preventative maintenance and repair of maintenance and custodial equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain college vehicles, check fluid levels and tire pressure, fill as needed, clean interior and exterior and take vehicles in for service.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist others in the maintenance/custodial department.  May need to take direction form higher level maintenance positions.</p> </li><li> <p>Campus Services: </p> </li><li> <p>Event set ups and tear down.</p> </li><li> <p>Removing classroom furniture for custodial to perform floor care.</p> </li><li> <p>Collect relocate recyclable materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Bank run, mail run and package delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Direct or assist students, faculty, staff, contractors, vendors, and the community visitors with their needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Open and secure building perimeters and classroom doors, as needed..</p> </li><li> <p>Grounds keeping: </p> </li><li> <p>Cutting, trimming, and bagging of grass.</p> </li><li> <p>Weed removal.</p> </li><li> <p>Trim hedges and trees.</p> </li><li> <p>General exterior cleaning.</p> </li><li> <p>Remove snow and ice from parking lots of sidewalks using Kubota, lawn tractor, truck with plow, shovels etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Spread salt on sidewalks and in parking lots.</p> </li><li> <p>Install sign posts and hang signs.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>High school diploma or GED</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>2 year +  Building Maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, mechanical) </li><li>1 year +  Grounds Keeping </li><li>1 year +  Operations- Setup, Securing Doors </li><li>Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, construction, electrical and mechanical as it applies to buildings and equipment. </li><li>The ability to react and respond to unscheduled emergencies and events. </li><li>Good communication skills. </li><li>Basic computer skills. </li><li>The ability to use and the knowledge of how to operate power tools, lawn equipment, and cleaning equipment. </li><li>Ability to work independently </li><li>Knowledge of safety protocol </li></ul>
