Moran, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources</p> <p>SUBJECT: Work-based Learning Steering Committee- Search Extended</p> <p>Funds are available to support the formation of a steering committee for the school year 24-25, focused on Work-Based Learning programs. Funds are available through the DESE grant Fund Code 413. Up to 28 members.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Brockton Public School Faculty Member </li><li>Familiarity with national and state frameworks for Career and Technical Education. </li><li>Familiarity with Vocational, Career and Technical Education Curriculum formats. </li><li>Familiarity with the requirements of the DESE Innovation Career Pathways </li><li>Knowledge of MyCAP </li><li>Willingness to reach out to potential community and business partnerships. </li></ul> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Attend regularly scheduled virtual meetings after school and weekends. </li><li>Review current curriculum and update in standardize format to match the current DESE requirements. </li><li>Establish course offering and sequences. </li><li>Review program offerings and compare with current trends/job outlook to generate viable career pathways for students leading to certifications, articulations, Dual Enrollment, internships/work experience and/or employment. </li><li>Complete work as assigned to advance the ICP agenda. </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION:Contractual Rate</p> <p>FUNDING SOURCE:Grant Funded FC 413 (FY 25)</p>
