We are looking for talented and highly-motivated individuals who demonstrate a natural desire to improve and build new processes that support the meaningful work of community oncologists and the patients they serve.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Supervisor, Eligibility Verification and Benefits will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Eligibility Verification and Benefit Specialists. This role functions as a leader and subject matter expert related to payer benefit plan designs and eligibility. The Eligibility Verification and Benefits team ensures OneOncology confirms patient's insurance coverage for reimbursement before treatment occurs.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversees the day-to-day operations and supervision of the Eligibility Verification and Benefits Specialist team</p> </li><li> <p>Provide expertise and guidance to the eligibility staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain an expert knowledge of insurance payer networks, benefit plan designs and COB guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure insurances are properly defined and chosen to allow for accurate downstream workflows such as fee schedules.</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of eligibility tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with the development of policy and procedures and workflows ensuring best practice.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide backup coverage for the team, as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Routinely communicates with RCM leadership, escalating issues as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Strive to meet established KPI metrics.</p> </li><li> <p>Escalate global issues and other problems to RCM leadership.</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent customer service skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates positive and professional behavior in the workplace.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to monitor/access performance of self, other individuals, or organization to recommend improvement to workflow, processes, and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of clinic office procedures, medical practice and medical terminology including drug indications.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in the use of end-user computer applications regarding productivity (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, payer sites), database and patient scheduling and other medical information systems.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Extensive knowledge of insurance payer guidelines and medical policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of ICD10, CPT and HCPCS codes required.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</p> </li><li> <p>Associates degree or equivalent experience required.</p> </li><li> <p>1+ years of experience in a community oncology setting preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of RCM healthcare experience required including authorizations.</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years of supervisor experience preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $56,162.160-$66,562.56</p>
