<p>Accounts Payable Specialist completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.</p> <p>Performance Responsibilities and Standards:</p> <ul> <li>Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment </li><li>Processes invoices into computer system, coded accurately and in the right reporting period </li><li>Paying vendors by scheduling checks and ensuring payment is received of outstanding credit </li><li>Ensuring all invoices and check requests are scanned into Sage Intacct </li><li>Prints all accounts payable checks </li><li>Distributes signed checks as required </li><li>Respond to all vendor inquires in a timely manner </li><li>Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and account payable files </li><li>Follows up on uncleared checks timely </li><li>Processes daily deposits including credit card processing </li><li>Obtain/Scan and enter new vendor W-9s information. </li><li>Understand and adhere to agency policies and procedures </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Two to three years previous experience </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to sit or stand at a desk 90% of the day.
