<p>Table Operators produce quality springs while removing the springs from the molds.</p> <ul> <li>Must be precise when removing springs to ensure there is no damage to the mold or springs during the demold process. </li><li>Operators must be able to lift and remove springs from the molds while continuously standing. </li><li>Handle incoming and outgoing material to supply machines with materials. </li><li>Perform operations following processes defined by machine procedural manual. </li><li>Must be able to self-direct work with good time-management in order to meet daily productivity goals. </li><li>Must be able to work as a team to ensure the table continues </li><li>Operate production machines & equipment at or above minimum standards. </li><li>Assure correctness of raw materials and inspection of parts. </li><li>Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts. </li><li>Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed. </li><li>Conduct required quality checks and adhere to quality standards. </li><li>Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards. </li><li>Exercise safe working habits while operating machines. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Supervisor. </li><li>Must possess a high level of attention to details. </li><li>Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns. </li><li>Effectively communicate issues to the Team Lead, Maintenance Technician, or Supervisor </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and Training</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED required. </li><li>Prior production experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work overtime, as production demands require. </li><li>Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment. </li><li>Must follow all safety practices and policies. </li><li>Must be able to read and write legibly. </li><li>Must be able to meet attendance standards. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp. </li><li>Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching. </li><li>Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing. </li><li>Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs. </li></ul> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. </li><li>Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection. </li></ul> <p>Behavioral Traits</p> <p>Production - Adopting a strong orientation toward achievement, holding high expectations for yourself and others, pushing yourself and others to achieve at high levels</p> <p>Cooperation - Accommodating the needs and interests of others by being willing to defer performance on your own objectives in order to assist colleagues with theirs</p> <p>Listening - Understands and learns from what others say.</p> <p>Attention to Detail - Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks</p> <p>Teamwork - Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.</p> <p>Safety Focus - Adheres to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices.</p> <p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
