<p>We're looking for a hands-on, employee-focused HR Manager to support our Boulder office while contributing to global HR processes. This role is ideal for someone who loves delivering high-quality employee support, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to help strengthen HR systems and documentation across regions. Based in Boulder CO, this position reports directly to the Global Head of HR Operations & Programs and will serve as a critical connector between HR Operations, HRBPs, and the employee population.</p> <p>What You'll Do as an HR Manager</p> <p>Employee Support & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the first point of contact for employees in North America and a global resource for employee HR inquiries. </li><li>Provide timely, friendly support with questions about benefits, policies, time off, payroll, systems navigation, and general HR processes. </li><li>Ensure new hires experience a smooth, well-organized onboarding process and that departing employees complete offboarding steps consistently. </li><li>Partner with HRBPs for seamless escalation of manager- or leadership-facing </li></ul> <p>HR Documentation, Data Accuracy & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Maintain up-to-date employee documentation, including contracts, forms, and other required records. </li><li>Ensure HR data accuracy across HRIS and documentation repositories by performing regular audits and updates. </li><li>Complete compliance tasks, including file audits, eligibility documentation verification, and regulatory-required updates. </li><li>Support global consistency in documentation standards and tracking. </li></ul> <p>Process Execution & Global Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Execute core HR processes across multiple regions by following established workflows and ensuring accuracy at each step. </li><li>Partner with the Global HR Operations team to support consistent, reliable process execution (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, changes, compliance updates). </li><li>Document process updates and improvements to enhance clarity, reduce errors, and support scalability. </li></ul> <p>HR Systems & Record Management</p> <ul> <li>Enter, update, and maintain employee data in HR systems with attention to accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Troubleshoot basic system questions from employees and escalate technical issues appropriately. </li><li>Support periodic HR system clean-ups and configuration updates in partnership with Global HR Operations. </li></ul> <p>Benefits, Leave & Employee Relations Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist employees with routine benefits questions and help navigate resources and self-service tools. </li><li>Coordinate leave-related documentation and communication in partnership with the Total Rewards team. </li><li>Provide first-level employee-relations support and escalate complex or manager-facing issues to HRBPs. </li></ul> <p>Office & Culture Support (Boulder Office)</p> <ul> <li>Serve as an onsite HR presence in Boulder, helping maintain a welcoming, employee-centered environment. </li><li>Support local office engagement activities, new-hire welcome experiences, and employee-focused events. </li><li>Partner with the office manager to ensure employees feel supported and connected. </li></ul> <p>Continuous Improvement & Special Projects</p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation clarity, and the overall employee experience. </li><li>Support global HR initiatives and operations projects led by the Global Head of HR Operations & Total Rewards. </li><li>Collect and share feedback from employees to help continuously refine HR programs, tools, and workflows. </li></ul> <p>Key Skills:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of HR/Leadership experience. </li><li>Strong understanding of U.S. employment law; Colorado experience preferred. </li><li>High degree of accuracy in maintaining employee documentation and HR data. </li><li>Strong communication and customer-service orientation with the ability to build trust across cultures. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. </li><li>Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion. </li><li>Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced environments; tech or aerospace experience a plus. </li><li>Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR documentation standards. </li></ul> <p>Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.</p> <p>Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be required for this role.
