<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Sr. Manager of RCM is responsible for the performance of the revenue cycle teams including charge entry, cash management, and AR follow up ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient billing, claims, and collections to maximize cash flow. This role will include managing managers, supervisors and frontline staff. This role will also involve analyzing data, developing policies and collaborating with other departments to optimize revenue cycle.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily operations of Chage Capture & Reconciliation, Cash Management (including payment posting and credit balance management process), and AR Management (including insurance billing, follow up on unresponded to claims, denial management and patient AR) </li><li>Analyze revenue data, develop reports, and identify trends to track performance of the revenue cycle teams </li><li>Identify areas of improvement, develop strategies for continuous process improvement & execute on agreed upon initiatives </li><li>Develop, implement, maintain, and train on new policies and procedures </li><li>Supervise and develop revenue cycle staff, including performance evaluations </li><li>Ensure claims are billed accurately and timely </li><li>Monitor cash flow trends </li><li>Collaborate with other departments to improve revenue cycle processes </li><li>Implement and use technology to further improve the revenue cycle performance </li><li>Implement strategies to improve cash flow </li><li>Effectively communicate and collaborate with leadership and providers </li><li>Provide updates on key performance indicators </li><li>Provide regulate updates on outstanding significant AR issues </li><li>Resolve issues using analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCIES:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain high degree of confidentiality. </li><li>Proficient in using organizational billing systems. </li><li>Attention to detail. </li><li>Flexible to the needs of the department and organization. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>The position will have supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <p>The work characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, kneel and crouch.</p> <p>The employee may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (50-90 pounds). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.</p> <p>The employee will be required to work in an office environment or remotely as need. Ability to travel between locations may be necessary.</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:</p> <p>This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
