<p>Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Math teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching rigorous Math equations and concepts, potentially across all levels, as well as designing engaging lesson plans, creating assignments, and administering assessments.</p> <p>Teacher Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Developing, planning, and implementing the curriculum and lesson plans that are based on current curriculum standards</p> </li><li> <p>Utilizing multiple and appropriate learning strategies within the classroom</p> </li><li> <p>Engaging students in active learning</p> </li><li> <p>Actively monitoring during the lesson to assess student understanding of skill/content</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively integrating student assessment and data to impact daily instruction</p> </li><li> <p>Implementing classroom rules and behavioral expectations that are consistent with the school's philosophy</p> </li><li> <p>Creating a Christ-centered learning community in which individual differences are respected</p> </li><li> <p>Establishing respectful, productive, and cooperative relationships with colleagues, students, and parents</p> </li></ol> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Indiana Teaching License</p> </li><li> <p>Safe Environment Training and Background Check required</p> </li><li> <p>Desire and ability to work and relate to young people in a Catholic high school setting</p> </li><li> <p>Able to be a good role model and example of Christian living to the young people of Mater Dei High School and its affiliated communities of youth on a daily basis</p> </li></ol>
