<p>Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a dedicated and compassionate master's level Social Work or Therapy Intern to join our Counseling Services team. This is a paid internship opportunity for graduate students looking to gain hands-on clinical experience in a supportive college environment. Interns will work directly with a diverse student population and receive supervision from licensed mental health and/or social work professionals.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in providing short-term, individual therapy sessions to students under supervision </li><li>Co-facilitate and lead psychoeducational groups on topics such as stress management, anxiety, academic motivation, and emotional regulation </li><li>Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to inform treatment planning </li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards </li><li>Collaborate with campus partners and refer students to appropriate resources </li><li>Participate in weekly individual and group supervision sessions </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a master's program in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field </li><li>Eligible for internship placement through your academic institution </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills </li><li>Experience with or interest in working with college students preferred </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Flexible scheduling is available, including daytime, evening, and limited weekend hours. Interns must be available for at least 10-15 hours per week. Session times can be coordinated to accommodate both intern availability and student client needs, including outside of typical school business hours.</p> <p>To Apply:</p> <p>Submit a resume.
